A WEEKEND AT THE SCOTT RESORT & SPA
Cabanas and drinks and pools OH MY! I’m just going to say it – The Scott Resort & Spa is the prettiest resort I have been to. From the art-deco cuban atmosphere to the granny chic decor, The Scott is an absolute dream! The Resort is situated in the heart of beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona minutes away from Old Town. This was our first time visiting Scottdale, and let me tell you – this place is a desert oasis.
The first thing we did after we arrived was head to the pool. After an almost 7 hour drive, I couldn’t think of anything better than hanging out poolside. We arrived on a quiet Thursday afternoon and practically had the pool all to ourselves. We started the next day bright and early (time differences – am I right!) and spent the majority of the day in our own private cabana! The Cabana itself comes with an assortment of drinks, appetizers, and the Resort’s signature cocktail El Mano Del Diablo. The drink comes in a frozen pineapple for two and is dangerously delicious!
If i’ve said it once, I’ve said it 100 times – this place is a dream! I know i’m not the only one wishing my home looked just like this! The Scott Resort has all of the hanging plants and rattan furniture a women could ever ask for!
Food. Drinks. And the coolest bar you ever did see. The Dining experiences at the resort are just TOO GOOD. Whether you’re at The Canal Club Poolside or dining at the restaurant itself – the food and drinks are phenomenal. John and I could never decided between the salmon and steak so we would both switch off between the two! We would end our meal with our go-to dessert; their churro doughnut holes with guava jam. Lastly, I know a good french fry when I see one… and honey – they got ’em!
Okay, the only thing better than breakfast in bed is breakfast on your own private balcony! It’s the ultimate breakfast of champions. Top it off with arguably the best avocado toast you’ve ever had and it can’t be beat. This was also the first time John had a poached egg – he was very impressed!
We spent our last day in Scottsdale with a morning swim and one last meal at The Canal Club before we headed home! Our weekend in Scottsdale was definitely one for the books. We had such an amazing time at The Scott Resort and hope to be back soon!
A special thank you to The Scott Resort for having us!
